Election of the Director of UP IAM – 2025
The Scientific Council of UP IAM, at its 9th regular session held on May 26, 2025, adopted a Resolution to Initiate the Procedure for the Election of the Director of the Andrej Marušič Institute, University of Primorska.
The procedure for the election of the Director of the Andrej Marušič Institute, University of Primorska (UP IAM), is defined by the Rules on the Organization and Operation of the Andrej Marušič Institute, University of Primorska.
Submission of Candidacies
Proposals for candidacies may be submitted by the departments and centers of the institute.
The proposal must be addressed to the election commission and submitted in a sealed envelope marked: "DO NOT OPEN! NOMINATION FOR DIRECTOR CANDIDATE"
The proposal must include the following documentation:
- Full name and title of the proposed candidate,
- The name of the proposer,
- The candidate’s written consent.

A proposal is considered timely if it arrives at the institute’s headquarters by Friday, June 27, 2025, by noon.
